Major Donor Gala - October 27, 2005
This dinner reception was hosted by the Sierra College Foundation to thank our major donors for their support and generosity in the past year. The event was held at the Auburn Ridge Club and over than 50 attendees who enjoyed performances by some of our most talented students during dinner. In addition, the 2005 Outstanding Partnership Award was given to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for their support and commitment to the nursing program at Sierra College. Click here to see pictures.
Broadway at Sierra - July 8 - July 17, 2006
The 9th annual Broadway at Sierra just completed a very successful run of Broadway Through the Decades in July to packed houses and rave reviews.
"A Taste of Excellence" - April 30, 2005
The first annual “A Taste of Excellence” raised more than $100,000 for scholarships and programs at Sierra College. More than 400 people attended the event which featured more than 40 fine restaurants and wineries, as well as a silent and live auction.
Sacramento Ballet and Jazz Ensemble - April 14, 2004
For those lucky enough to have been in the theatre for the spontaneous improvisation between the Jazz Ensemble and the Sacramento Ballet, it proved to be a night to be remembered! The CSUS Festival of the Arts event was so successful it was repeated by popular demand. A special grant provided by the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, enabled the addition of a new percussion score by composer Rob Knable this past April. This performance was a fundraiser for the Sierra College Foundation
Chip 'n Dick Bike Ride Across America - Summer 2003
Chip Johnson and Dick Marasso spent their summer break by raising scholarship funds for Sierra College students. The two undertook a 59-day, cross-country bicycle trip to retrace the historic route that Lewis and Clark forged 200 years ago.
