Benefits are paid by the District for active employees up to a monthly cap of $750 for full time permanent faculty, classified, and management staff. Medical, dental and vision insurances are required insurances. Vision is optional, however, if you take the Kaiser Plan. IRC 125 plan is with Custom Benefit Admisistrators. Employees may opt out of all health benefits and receive $100 back each month if they are employed full time (pro-rated for part-time) and show proof of other health coverage. Employees may opt out with the same rules above, waive the $100 and keep only the dental and vision coverages.
