Biography
Alex Yarmolyuk was born in the Southern part of the Ukraine, where he lived for 25 years. He finished his Bachelor of Arts in the Ukraine and served two years in the Soviet Military. His background and education give him unique experiences and knowledge.
Alex works for Sierra College as a Student Technician and he teaches Conversional Russian for Sierra College Community Education. He appreciates Sierra College’s commitment to training and development, such as the Sierra College Leadership Institute. Sierra’s commitment to excellence has been a key factor to ensure that Alex brings the most value to potential students, and he in turn learns a lot from them.
Alex is active in his free time. As often as he can, Alex likes to run on the Pacific Ocean shore with friends, and he plays tennis in local parks. He enjoys listening to violin music and is currently reading books by Jack London in Russian and Leo Tolstoy in English.
