Discovered in 1906 by Auburn dentist -palentologist J.C. Hawver, Hawver Cave has yielded fossils going back 5.3 million years. This new display includes skulls and bones of dire wolf, saber-tooth cat, ground sloth, mammoth and bison.
A digital slide show gives a visual history of the cave.
