The museum has been able to maintain its programs and exhibits over the past years thanks almost entirely to donations by individuals and to the generous contributions of time, money and energy by its volunteer staff. It's time we give our museum users the opportunity to take part in a membership program!
Membership benefits include first mailing announcing museum events, field trips, workshops (you get first crack at limited enrollment activities) and free admission to natural history seminars and reduced admission for special events. Your membership card entitles you to a 10% discount on field trips and other fee activities. Regular membership categories are:
- Supporter - $50 a year,
- Family - $35 a year,
- Individual - $20 a year, and
- Student - $10 a year.
Friends of the Museum
As we enlarge upon plans for museum membership and an expanded natural history program, we would like you to consider helping us along the way. A contribution of any size will go directly towards maintaining the museum program and exhibits as well as for developing future plans for the museum and its functions. We've already completed several new exhibits, and are working on more. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. If you would like to be a corporate sponsor contributing to an exhibit or building expansion, please contact us.
Memberships may be purchased at the door during museum seminars and special events. Your membership dues and other tax-deductible contributions can also be made out and sent to:
