Drawing Birds Workshop

John Muir Laws bird sketchLearn the artful techniques of bird illustration. Develop the ability to quickly capture the shape and proportions of live birds in the field. Learn how to make the critical lines to capture the gestalt of a bird in a fast field sketch – later to be used as reference for the drawing's completion. The workshop includes learning the details of bird anatomy and how feathers overlap and change as the bird shifts.
