A Focus on Sustainability
"People and Cultures Day would not be appropriate without emphasizing humanity's immediate need to recognize and practice sustainability", says event co-coordinator Sean Booth.
A resurrection of the historic "Diversity Day", Sierra's fifth annual People and Culture Days is a celebration of human diversity – its music, songs, food, dance, dress, and values.
"It's a great couple of days where students, staff, and the community come out to celebrate and have some fun", says Tim Haenny Advisor to the cosponsoring Associated Students of Sierra College.
