The greenhouse at Sierra College’s Rocklin campus, located at 5000 Rocklin Road, Rocklin CA, will open its doors to the public for the annual Spring Plant sale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 17, 18 and 19, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There will be a wide selection of ornamental and native perennials (ferns, hostas and color), annuals, vegetables, native trees, shrubs, herb bowls and succulents. T-shirts, sweatshirts and gardening aprons will also be available to purchase.
All plants have been produced, grown and maintained by the Sierra College Horticulture students. Students and staff will be on hand to answer plant questions. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Environmental Horticulture Department programs. This event is sponsored by the Sierra College Botanical Society, and the Associated Students of Sierra College. The Placer County Master Gardener’s will have an information booth to help answer your plant and gardening questions.

Parking is available for a $1 daily fee and can be purchased at machines located throughout the campus parking lot. Follow the signs to the plant sale for the most convenient parking.
