- Taylor comes to Sierra College after attending Rocklin High where he played two years of varsity baseball. At Rocklin he was the starting catcher, batting in the four spot. He led the Sierra Foothill League in RBI's (34), while batting .396 with a .450 on base percentage and a .490 Slugging. Taylor was named defensive player of the year and received an honorable mention for the All Metro team. His fondest baseball memories were made during the Sierra foothill Section Championship game. With two outs in the second inning Taylor hit a triple and stole home to score the first run of the game.

- Jesse Olson enters this year at Sierra College after red shirting with the team last year. Jesse played all four years of his high school career on varsity for two different schools. He attended Valley Christian Academy his freshman year and then transferred to Del Campo where he won three 1st team All Capital Athletic League Honors. While with the Cougars, Jesse compiled over 300 put-outs and 104 assists while only committing four errors. During his senior year he was honorably awarded the “Defensive Player of the Year”. Jesse’s most memorable baseball moment is taking the Amtrak Train down to San Francisco with his dad to watch Giants games. Jesse is very excited to enter his first year and contribute to Sierra’s 2008 success and hopefully reach the Final Four in Fresno, CA.

- Ben comes to Sierra College after playing two years of varsity baseball at Bella Vista High School under Head Coach Bill Richardson. At Bella Vista, the Broncos won back to back Capital Athletic League championships and Ben was named All-League two years in a row. After his senior season he was also named to the Optimist Team. His fondest baseball memory was pitching against Casa Roble in a crucial CAL league match up where he was forced to continually throw strikes due to the three and two count with bases loaded and two outs in the bottom half of the inning. After six pitches he finally retired the batter allowing the Broncos to go ahead in the top of the 8th inning and ultimately secure a win.
