- Alex arrived at Sierra College after playing three years of varsity baseball at Casa Roble high school. He was awarded All CAL League honors three times, second team all Metro and played in the Optimist game. After red shirting during the 2007 season Alex is confident and ready to start playing again. His fondest baseball memory was going to Arizona to play in a father son tournament and get to play baseball with his dad. Alex is very excited to start competing for Sierra and is looking forward to contributing to this prestigious baseball program.

- Before coming to Sierra College Tyler was a four-year varsity baseball player and a three-year football player at Ponderosa High School. His teams won a SVC title in baseball in 2004, and went to the playoffs in ‘05 and ‘06. Tyler made first team All League in baseball and football his senior year. He also attended USA Junior National trials and Area Code team the summer of ‘04 and played in the Good Will series in Australia in December of ‘05. Tyler was drafted by Cincinnati Reds in ‘06. His greatest baseball memories are going to Cooperstown NY and playing in a tournament when he was fourteen. Tyler’s trip to Australia during Christmas ‘05 was a great experience playing with kids from around the world and staying with host families

- Derek comes to Sierra College after attending Granite Bay High School where he played varsity baseball for two years. Derek was the starting first basemen for Granite Bay High School and batted .475 with 38 runs scored and 27 RBI's. His senior year he was elected to the First Team All Sierra Foothill League. He also made First Team All-Metro and was selected as "Player of the Year" from the Press Tribune. In his 2007 season Derek was voted "MVP and Offensive Player" of his team. Derek's fondest baseball moment was during his 2007 season when him and his high school beat Woodcreek in the Semi-finals after they had lost to them 3 times during the regular season. The win led Granite Bay to the first section title appearance since 2001.

- Keith Jennette comes to Sierra College after playing 3 years of varsity baseball. His junior and senior seasons at Del Campo and his sophomore season at Mesa Verde. Keith ended his high school career with a .464 batting average, .543 on base percentage and a .667 slugging percentage. His senior year he was elected 1st team all league, Honorable Mention for the All Metro team, starting second baseman for the Optimist Game, and received Del Campo's Pitcher of the Year award. Keith's fondest baseball memory occurred during the summer of 05' while playing in a tourney in Reno, NV for the DSA Mustangs. Keith was playing shortstop with the bases loaded, 2 outs, top of the 7th inning and DSA was ahead by 2 runs. A ball was hit up the middle, Keith made a diving stop to his left, popped up and threw the man out at 1st base to end the game.

- Kyle returns to Sierra College after playing for the Wolverines in the '07 season where he earned 2nd tem All-Big 7 Utility honors. Kyle wants the team to return to the Final Four and take home the State Championship. Kyle’s fondest baseball memory came in a summer American Legion baseball tournament. His team was in the championship game and he was leading off and pitching. He led off the game with a triple off the fence and later scored on a double. It was the only run his team would score. When he took the mound he threw a complete game shutout. It was his best pitching performance of his career and helped boost his team to win the championship.

- Ryan Stevens is in his sophomore year at Sierra College after red-shirting at Sacramento State. He played for the Sacramento Scorch last summer and batted .453 with a .585 OBP, and led his team in most hitting categories. He was a three year varsity starter for the Cougars of Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks CA. As a sophomore he hit .463 with 8 home runs and 22 RBI’s, as a junior he batted .424 with 5 hr and 25 RBI’s and as a senior hit .378 with 3 hr and 28 RBI’s. Made 1st team All-Metro his junior and senior year of High School, also getting recognized for All-Capital Athletic League the three years on varsity baseball. Ryan possesses a strong left handed bat and can help the Wolverines at first base this year. As a red-shirt freshman Stevens had 30 RBI’S, an on base % of .420, and .424 slugging % after hitting in the DH spot most of last year. He also slugged 11 doubles and 3 HR’s to help his team get to the Elite 8 last year. Ryan’s best baseball memory was as a high school sophomore where he went 3 for 4 in the Sac Joaquin playoffs with a couple of 400 foot home runs and six RBIs sending his team to the section final. Ryan is a graduating sophomore this year, excited about the upcoming season with Sierra College and believes the team is in a great position to return to the Elite 8. His ultimate goal this year is to help his team get to the State Championship in Fresno.

- Sky joins the Wolverines for his second year after playing four varsity seasons at three different high schools. Two were in Hawaii (Konawaena & Kealakehe) and one in California (San Benito). Sky is originally from the big island of Hawaii. However, he moved to California to finish off his senior year at San Benito High in Hollister. His fondest baseball memory came in the second round of playoffs his junior year in Hawaii when his team upset the number one seeded team in their section. Sky went 3-4 with four RBI’s and later defeated that team 6-4, to move onto the championship game.

- Lorenzo comes to Sierra College after attending Maui High School his junior and senior seasons where he played varsity baseball for two years. His freshmen and sophomore years in high school he attended Tahoma High School in Maple Valley, WA. which was the #1 team in Washington State 4A baseball in ‘07. He was a leader at Maui High and played an important role and was named first team all League as a shortstop. He led his team to the MIL championship game in '06 but fell short. His favorite memory was just being a part of Maui High School baseball and being able to live in Hawaii.
