Head Coach/Offensive Line- Jeff Tisdel
The Sierra College Wolverines are steadily building a new tradition of excellence. The latest step in that effort is the guidance of head football coach Jeff Tisdel. Coach Tisdel brings leadership skills and a wealth of experience to Sierra College. He is entering his 21st year as a Head football coach.
Tisdel has served in that capacity at Christian Brothers High School, Sacramento City College and at the University of Nevada. His teams have won many championships and he has seen many of his players advance to the four-year collegiate and/or professional levels. Coach Tisdel’s vision for the Wolverines includes developing the football program into one of the finest in Northern California. To start, he has assembled a skilled coaching staff with experience from all levels of competition.
The football staff at Sierra wants to develop an understanding of “quality education,” the values of teamwork and a positive football experience within the student-athlete.
The surrounding communities are another huge reason why success will follow Sierra football. The high quality of athletes and coaches in this area hold tremendous potential for the growth of Wolverine football. Fans should be prepared for a lot of great action this season.
The Wolverine offense employs a one back, spread offense that is fun to watch go up and down the field. Defensively, the Wolverines will run an attacking, aggressive style package that will be exciting to watch. The special teams will be sound units that fly around, hit hard and create great field position opportunities.
Coach Tisdel resides in Rocklin with his wife Dorothy and 16-year-old daughter Jennifer.
