Head Coach - Karen Linde
Coach Karen Linde is in her 12th year as Head Women's Golf Coach at Sierra, after 25 years as the Head Softball Coach. Coach Linde brings her enthusiasm for coaching to the links. She began teaching golf at Sierra 15 years ago and was able to convince the school of the need for a Women's Golf team.
The past 6 seasons have brought 5 Conference Championships and 1 Northern California Championship to Sierra College and 19 All Conference athletes. Our transfer rate the past 4 seasons has been 100%. Our goal at Sierra is to help our students transfer to the next level with our focus on academic and athletic excellence.
Last years team finished 1st in the NorCal Championships and 4th in the state. Two athletes were selected to the all conference team.
Education
Education: Coach Linde graduated with an A.A. degree from American River College. She went on to graduate from the University of California at Davis, where she received her B.A. degree in Physical Education and teaching credential. Coach Karen completed her Master's degree in Physical Education from C.S.U. Sacramento.
