Women's Head Coach - Scott Decker

Scott Decker started his coaching career in 1984 at UC Davis as an assistant coach for the Women's Water Polo Program. During the next 4 years, he assisted then, and current, Head Coach Jamey Wright until he graduated in 1987. Upon graduation in 1987, Scott Decker was hired as the Men's Water Polo and Men's & Women's Swimming Coach at El Camino HS in Sacramento. Over the next 10 years, Decker guided the Eagles Water Polo Teams to over 200 victories during his tenure, and was twice named Capital Athletic League Coach of the Year (91 & 95).

Assistant Coach - Marisa Fernandez

Marisa Fernandez is a second year assistant coach at Sierra College.  Prior to this she was a student/athlete at Sierra College from 2002- 2004.  While attending Sierra College Marisa was team captain of the water polo team for the 2003 season.  Also she was named to the Community College All- American teams for both water polo and swimming her sophomore year.  Upon graduating with an AA in Liberal Arts from Sierra College she received a water polo scholarship to Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, Colorado.  At Colorado State University she was team captain of the inaugural water polo team at Colorado State University and was named All Conference her junior year.  Marisa graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and has aspirations to continue her education and get a Master’s degree and become a teacher at either the high school or community college level.
