English 560

English 560 is a course for the reader who needs a thorough review of all the foundational reading skills: phonics, spelling, understanding and make sense of words in context, pronunciation and focused practice in applying those skills to a range of texts. English 560 focuses on comprehension of words and sentences and making sensible transitions between ideas. Students in English 560 will practice their skill development in a lab environment as part of their course work.
