Sierra College Reading Program

All the courses in the Sierra College Reading program stress Reading as a process. All courses will help students develop an awareness of and proficiency in reading as a series of skills or steps from pre-reading to analysis or explanation. Each course emphasizes the skills necessary to improve reading skills at the appropriate academic level, as described below. The Sierra College Reading Program also encourages reading for pleasure. Most courses in the Reading Program will also include work in the Sierra College Reading Lab.
