All daytime classes at the Rocklin campus require 15 hours of lab work in addition to the class time. Lab attendance is mandatory in order to pass the course. To help students succeed in their classes, the Foreign Language Lab (FLL) provides support and instruction.
The FLL provides the following student services:
- Audio files that correspond to the lab book for each language.
- Interactive computer exercises and programs
- Publications (Magazines, newspaper and trade journals) in each language
- DVDs for each language taught at Sierra College
- A computer lab with 29 PCs for student use
- Dedicated study areas for student use

The FLL is on the fourth floor of the Learning Resource Center (LRC), Room 446
Summer 2010 Hours of Operation
- Monday -Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Friday: Closed
- Closed Saturday & Sunday, Sierra College holidays & during intersession breaks.
You will need to bring your Sierra College Student ID Card to use the lab facilities.
All times during the week are open lab hours and students may come in on a “space available” basis.
Note: Roll may be taken at any time in order verify your presence.
