Foreign Languages - Spanish

Spanish is the official language of Spain, Equatorial Guinea, as well as the vast majority of Latin America.

Depending on the source, Spanish is one of the top five most widely spoken languages in the world. Due to the increasing immigration of Spanish speakers to the United States, Spanish has taken on an important role in our society and is widely used as a second language in the United States. In fact, the most recent data from the National Census in 2000 showed that over 28 million people speak Spanish “most frequently at home”.
