Sierra Community College District Sierra Job Link Job Posting Policy
- Sierra Community College District retains the right to refuse any employer, for any reason, the opportunity to post jobs on its online Sierra Job Link site.
- The Sierra Community College District provides Sierra Job Link as a public service for employers who can guarantee at least an hourly wage that complies with the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act for minimum wage. Postings of business opportunities that cannot make this guarantee, multi-level marketing businesses, or other business ventures that require an initial investment on the part of the applicant, are excluded from posting.
- Staffing and/or temporary employment services may only post specific part-time and full-time jobs. Job “types” used for the purpose solely for advertising are excluded. Resume review access will not be granted to these agencies.
- Sierra Job Link will make every effort to provide approved access to employers within two business days of receiving a registration request, except during periods of scheduled District holidays.
- Organizations that have been denied the opportunity to post on the Sierra College Sierra Job Link site can be, upon request, notified in writing within ten (10) days of the denial.
- Organizations recruiting through Sierra Job Link agree to contact Sierra Job Link when their position is closed, canceled or changed and to give full notification of any students or graduates hired via email to the Sierra Job Link at sierrajoblink@sierracollege.edu.
