If you are interested in an ON or OFF Campus CalWORKs Work-Study position:
- Stop by the Sierra College EOPS/ CARE/ CalWORKs office located in the Winstead Center / Rocklin campus or the "A" building / NCC.
- Make an appointment with a CalWORKs Counselor at (916) 781-0538 (Rocklin campus), or (530) 274-5322 (Nevada County Campus) to determine your eligibilty for CalWORKs Work-Study.
- Be enrolled in Sierra College class(es) and maintain a 2.0 GPA each semester.
- On Campus Work-Study students will be paid up to 20 hours per week through CalWORKs funds. Off Campus Work-Study students will be paid up to 20 hours or more, on a case by case basis through CalWORKs funds.
- The Sierra College CalWORKs Work-Study program pays 50-75 percent of the CalWORKs student's wages as an incentive for on and off campus employers to hire and train CalWORKs students.
Services can not be provided to a student until the student has all required paperwork submitted to the Sierra College CalWORKs Office.
