I love nursing! I have been a FNP since 1998. I have Emergency nursing background and still work at my local Emergency department in Grass Valley. I have enjoyed working at Sierra College in Nevada County and am excited to have the opportunity to work at the Rocklin Center. E-mail me

Alice Haines, F.N.P.
Alice is a part-time faculty member who has been a nurse practitioner since 1995. Her experience is in family practice, pediatrics and internal medicine. She also owns a preschool in Carmichael.

Rita Moeller, M.F.T.
Rita has been doing Marriage and Family Therapy for eleven years. She has worked at other community colleges as a counselor and taught school. She specializes in brief, solution-focused therapy and also does EMDR. EMDR is a great tool for trauma, phobias and other problems.

Ken Johnstone, M.F.T.
Ken has 35 years of professional counseling experience. He is happy to be a member of the Sierra College setting which rounds out the other settings and experiences in which he has worked.

Sheila Hirsch, L.C.S.W.
Sheila has a long experience of counseling people of all ages and in many different environments. Among other issues, she has done a lot work with depression, anxiety, relationship issues and trauma. She is trained in EMDR, a type of therapy that helps people dealing with trauma.
