250 Sierra College Drive, Grass Valley, CA 95945

Located in the Sierra Foothills community of Grass Valley, the Sierra College-Nevada County Campus serves the citizens of Western Nevada County including Grass Valley, Nevada City, North San Juan, Penn Valley, Lake Wildwood, Lake of the Pines, Cedar Ridge, and Chicago Park. The Campus is within an hour's driving distance from Lake Tahoe and Sacramento as well as many historic gold mining communities of the Sierra Foothills. Outdoor enthusiasts are also within an hour's driving distance from Rollins Lake, Bullards Bar Lake, Bowman Lake, as well as the winter ski resorts on Donner Summit and Squaw Valley USA.

Campus viewThe beautiful 105-acre campus was built overlooking the city of Grass Valley atop what was formerly Litton Hill. The campus was built in support of the District's ongoing commitment to the orderly development of its physical resources to support the educational mission of the College. The completion of Phase I of the Sierra College-Nevada County Campus was the most significant addition to the physical resources of the College since the construction of the Rocklin Campus in 1961. Sierra College-Nevada County Campus opened its doors to almost 2500 students in the Fall of 1996. Now that the campus has over 3500 students, Phase II construction plans are underway to further expand SC-NCC to meet the needs of our students and the communities we serve.

Administration buildingThe Sierra College-Nevada County Campus offers excellent educational opportunities in a breath-taking setting. Course work at the Nevada County Campus is available in most degree and certificate areas, with some exceptions. A student choosing to attend only this campus has these Associate degree and certificate opportunities.

The campus is also home to Ghidotti Early College High School, which bridges the divide between high school and college.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Sierra College offers non-credit tuition-free short courses for adults with inquiring minds. Many of the courses are on campus.
