Register for Classes
Register on the Web using mySierra
If you experience difficulties with registration, contact an Admissions Office (Rocklin, Nevada County Campus, Roseville Gateway and Truckee).
Full payment of all charges is due at the time of registration.
You may use mySierra to:
- Add or drop courses
- Order Parking & ASSC (activity sticker): select the Credentials button under Pay Fees.
- View and pay fees using Visa or Mastercard or print payment coupon to mail in payment by check.
- View or print your class schedule.
- Print unofficial transcripts.
Important Reminders
- New & former students - be sure you have completed the Admissions Procedures.
- You may qualify for financial aid, visit the Financial Services web page BEFORE registering for classes.
- Payments made via the web can be made with Visa or Mastercard.
- If mailing in a payment, be sure to include a payment coupon (.pdf) with your check.
- Please do not mail cash.
How is registration priority determined?
Enrollment in courses and programs may be limited to students meeting properly established prerequisites and co-requisites.
Enrollment may be limited due to health and safety considerations, facility limitations, faculty workload, availability of qualified instructors, funding limitations, regional planning, legal requirements, contractual requirements
Sierra College District priorities for determining who may enroll are:
- Veterans, handicapped or disadvantaged students as defined by statute
- Continuing/former students based on their units completed
- New students who have complied with the matriculation process
- All other students (including but not limited to Academic Enrichment)
In the case of intercollegiate competition, honors courses, or public performance courses, seats will be allocated to those students most qualified.
