Official Transcripts
An Official Transcript is a sealed document detailing a student’s academic record at Sierra College. Copies are available from the Admissions & Records office and can be held for student pickup, mailed directly to other institutions, or mailed to a student’s home.
Unofficial Transcripts are available through your mySierra account or free of charge from Admissions & Records. They are unsealed photocopies.
We cannot fax or email official or unofficial transcripts.
Order Online: Save time and money
- Gives you your first two transcripts for FREE and subsequent copies for only $5 each (rather than the $20 per copy charge for in-person orders).
- Allows you to place an order without having to mail in a request.
- Assists you with the delivery of the required signature authorization (no signature authorization is required when you place your order through mySierra).
- Supports the payment method you prefer: check, money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Diner’s Club, Discover).
- Allows you to place your order at your convenience from your home or office. No need to make an extra trip to campus.
- Gets your sealed, official transcript mailed to the institution of your choice.
- Provides you with an email confirmation of your order.
- Gives you the ability to check your order’s status.
Be prepared to provide the following information:
- Your social security number.
- Your current name and address and daytime phone number.
- Any other names you used while attending Sierra College.
- The dates you attended Sierra College.
- The complete name and address of each of the intended recipients.
- The full name of the person you’re authorizing to pick up a held transcript.
Your signature and date on the order authorization (remember: no signature authorization is required when you place your order through mySierra.)
If you’re a current student, the easiest way to order a transcript is through mySierra. Click on “Order Transcripts” on the right side of the mySierra home page.
If you are prompted to enter your user name and PIN number, log out and change your browser to Firefox or Internet Explorer. There is no user name and PIN number, so guessing will disable your mySierra account. You’ll now be able to order your official transcript using TranscriptsPlus through Credential Solutions.

Standard mail service
- Takes 7-10 business days to process (does NOT include mailing time) AFTER receipt of signature authorization.
- First two transcripts are FREE.
- $5 per sealed copy thereafter.
- Copies can be mailed to your home or another institution.
Standard pickup service
- Takes 7-10 business days to process AFTER receipt of signature authorization.
- First two transcripts are FREE.
- $5 per sealed copy thereafter.
- Copies can be picked up by student or authorized second party (written authorization and photo ID required for second party pickup).
- Please allow one extra day to process orders to be picked up at NCC or Roseville Gateway.
Priority pickup service
- Takes three business days to process AFTER receipt of signature authorization.
- First two transcripts are FREE.
- $15 per sealed copy thereafter.
- Copies can be picked up by student or authorized second party (written authorization and photo ID required for second party pickup).
- Please allow one extra day to process orders to be picked up at NCC or Roseville Gateway.
