Cheer Squad
Sierra College is home to one of California’s top community college cheer squads. Sierra Cheer finished third at the 2011 USA College National competition and is on the sideline at all Sierra College home football and basketball games, showcasing their elite tumbling and stunting skills.
The 2011-2012 Show Cheer Squad
The Sierra College show cheer squad, consists of 16 extremely talented women. While the team cheers on the sideline at all Sierra College home football and basketball games throughout the year, they will also compete for a national title at USA Nationals in March 2012! This season was off to a great start at cheer camp at UCSB (in August 2011) where they were awarded first place in both the Sideline and Cheer competition. Not only did they leave home with two superior trophies but they were also granted the “Leadership Award” which is voted on by the entire camp! After football season had wrapped up, the additional STUNT team members were selected and added to our "cheer family" here at Sierra College! Both the Show Cheer & STUNT team are in full competition mode and getting ready to take home some titles and trophies at USA Nationals in March!
