Scott Decker started his coaching career in 1984 at UC Davis as an assistant coach for the Women's Water Polo Program. During the next four years, he assisted then, and current, Head Coach Jamey Wright until he graduated in 1987. Upon graduation in 1987, Scott Decker was hired as the Men's Water Polo and Men's and Women's Swimming Coach at El Camino HS in Sacramento. Over the next 10 years, Decker guided the Eagles Water Polo Teams to over 200 victories during his tenure, and was twice named Capital Athletic League Coach of the Year (91 and 95).
Rachel Holm is an alumni of Sierra college where she swam and played water polo under coach Decker for two years (2007-09). She was an All-American her two years as a swimmer and was also apart of two school record relays.
After Sierra she continued on with swimming at CSU, Bakersfield a division 1 swim program. She was a school record holder as a Roadrunner. She also qualified for US nationals her senior year.
Rachel has coached for all different ages. She coached one year at CSU, Bakersfield as a grad assistant and also coaches for the USA swim team, Roadrunner Aquatics. Currently she is coaching for Wolverine Aquatics Club at Sierra college.
