Younger Players, Boys and Girls

  • Monday-Thursday
  • 9am-12pm

Goals:

To provide a positive and fun experience while learning the great game of tennis. Introduction to basic techniques for Beginner and Intermediate Junior levels.

Camps Include:

  • Professional Instruction
  • Fun and Competitive Games
  • Health & Fitness
  • Introduction to Match Play
  • Drills for Skills
  • Advanced Stroke Production

Older Players, Boys and Girls

  • Monday-Thursday
  • 1-4pm

Goals:

To provide a positive and fun experience while learning the great game of tennis. Focus is on the overall development of the competitive high school tennis player.

Camp Includes:

  • Certified Professional Instruction
  • Advanced Stroke Production
  • Strategies and Tactics for Singles and Doubles
  • Advanced Speed, Agility and Quickness Training
  • Mental Toughness Skills

Camp Director

Coach DunmoreSteve Dunmore

Coach Dunmore has been Sierra College’s Women’s Head Tennis Coach for the past two decades. Dunmore was voted Coach of the year in 2006 and 2010 for California. He is Head Pro at Sierra View Country Club . Steve has been a Certified USPTA for the past 29 years. His Wolverine women's teams finished second in the state in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

 

Location

  • Sierra College is located at 5000 Rocklin Road, just east of I-80 between Roseville and Loomis.
  • A campus map will be mailed with your confirmation
  • Students are to be dropped off at the Sierra College Football Field.
  • Daily parking permits are $3.
  • Students are to bring their lunch, water and snacks.

  • Mail: Fill out the registration form, make check payable to Sierra College, and mail to Community Education, Roseville Gateway, 333 Sunrise Ave, Ste 300, Roseville CA 95661 
  • Walk in: The Community Education office is located at Roseville Gateway, 333 Sunrise Ave, Ste 300, Roseville CA 95661.
  • Hours: Mon-Thurs, 8:30am-4:30pm

Refund Policy: If requested 7 days prior to the start of camp, a refund will be granted less a non-refundable $15 processing fee.
