Why can’t I log into Canvas?

Your password is the same as your mySierra password. Fill our this form to reset your password. This will change both your Canvas and mySierra password.

What are the computer requirements for taking an online class?

  • A computer with an internet connection and web browser is required, as well as a word processing program that will create .doc or .rtf files. You can download a free word processing application from www.openoffice.org if you don't own one. Any additional software will be specified in the course description.
  • Please refer to the list of supported web browsers.

Why can't I see my classes in Canvas?

Courses in Canvas are not available until the first day of the semester. Once the semester has started and you register for a course you will immediately have access to it through your Canvas account.
