Event Details
On Tuesday, March 27 at 11:00 am on the Rocklin Campus, in the Dietrich Theatre, Sierra College will host a forum on the consequences of a marijuana DUI, titled “BUZZ KILL.” Due to rising concerns at the number of marijuana DUIs in Placer County, area law enforcement agencies, health centers and community groups have come together to sponsor this event. The intent is to heighten the awareness and understanding in the community and amongst student populations to the risks associated with marijuana use and the legal ramifications of driving while under its influence.

- Panel Discussion – Panelists include judge, attorney, treatment counselor, and DUI offender, with Q & A
- Testimonials from victim and offender
- Live music with Hip Hop Congress and Rachel Amare-Jones
- Graffiti Artist Douglas Kleinsmith, putting art to canvas prior to the event in front of the theatre.
- Raffle for gift cards

The Sierra College Rocklin Campus is located at 5000 Rocklin Road, Rocklin CA. This is a FREE event, however there is a $2 parking fee on campus. Parking permits can be purchased at dispensers located in the parking lot.
