An adventuresome event to benefit Sierra College Patrons of the Arts

Event Details

The Flea Affair is a lovely and fun "shopping" fundraiser for the Patrons of the Arts Club. Please join us on Saturday, May 17, from 9 am to 3 pm. Stroll through the private gardents of a Granite Bay Estate while searching for treasures from purveyors of fine antiques, furniture, collectibles, artwork, garden accents and more. Delightful pastries, light lunches, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

Gates open at 9:00 a.m. Admission is free.  There is a $1.00 fee for parking on the property, but each driver will receive a free raffle ticket to be placed in receptacles next to beautiful items which will be raffled off during the event.  These items may include wine assortments, plants and planters, tea pots, etc.  Additional raffle tickets can also be purchased.

Nearly two dozen dealers will be on hand with old and new garden items, transfer ware, vintage clothing and unique jewelry.  Nancy Okey’s booth will be brimming with country primitives and Doris Bell will be on hand with her unique mosaic adorned furniture featuring colorful pieces of broken China. There will be French influenced antiques as well as many other treasures and little seen delights.

Plan to join us for lunch, beginning at 11:00 a.m. featuring chicken or albacore salad on a fresh croissant and served with fresh fruit salad.  There are numerous places on this beautiful estate to sit and enjoy your lunch as you view the lush surroundings.   Baked goods are available for purchase if you are in the mood for sweet rather than savory.  Or just enjoy your stroll along gravel paths to the greenhouse.

The Flea Affaire will be held at 5130 Moss Lane, Granite Bay. Make a left turn 3.2 miles north of Douglas Blvd off of Auburn-Folsom Road.  Follow the signs on Moss Lane to the estate grounds.
