Our goal is to provide Sierra College students with the academic support they need in order to achieve success.
All students who use the Learning Center will automatically be enrolled in Skill Development 801, described as "Supervised Tutorials" in the college catalog. This is a non-credit course.
We know different students have different needs, so we have two formats to meet those needs… read on!
Flexibility is the reason you might choose drop-in tutoring. You can see a tutor as many times as you need to during the semester. To see when drop-in tutoring is available for your subject, look at the schedules below. To drop-in, bring your student ID and show up!
Spring 2012 Schedule
Sometimes you need tutoring tailored to meet your needs. Individual appointments let you work one-on-one with a tutor for one hour per week for every class in which you are enrolled. To make an individual appointment, come to the Learning Center, bring your student ID and a copy of your current course schedule.
