You can now enroll in a health plan that best suits your needs, whether online, by phone or through your local Certified Enrollment Counselor. For many, health insurance through Covered California will be available at no cost. If you are single, not claimed as a dependent on someone else’s tax return, and make $15,856 or less a year, you may qualify for no-cost coverage. If you are married or have a child, you can earn more and still qualify for no cost insurance.
Legal residents of California without access to affordable health insurance through their employer or another government program will be eligible to purchase health coverage through Covered California (California Health Insurance Exchange).
