International Student Requirement
We are very excited to have you attend Sierra College!
Now that you have made your decision, you are required to provide evidence of freedom from tuberculosis, International Student health insurance, and any other further documentation required depending on your tuberculosis skin test result. All documentation must be translated into English.
Tuberculosis Clearance
To be a student at Sierra College we require you provide evidence of freedom from tuberulosis. If you are unable to receive the skin test at home, we will offer it at Sierra College. However, to make your transition easier it is best you do the screening while in your home country. All documentation must be translated into English, be within three months of the beginning of the semester for which you are applying, and must be completed in one of the following ways:
- negative mantoux skin test (PPD) with measurement in millimeters.
- negative chest x-ray for those who react or who have reacted to the tuberculosis skin test in the past.
