Join us for our Nature Day Celebration on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and become a Sierra College Naturalist! The Sierra College Natural History Museum is challenging young and old alike to become part of our Naturalist Community.

At this family friendly event, attendees will be provided with an age-level workbook that they can choose to complete. These workbooks are filled with activities and information to help attendees explore the Museum and learn more about the natural history of our region. Docents will be on hand to help young explorers complete their workbooks. Those who finish their workbooks will be rewarded with an official Junior Naturalist patch!

Guided tours of the nature preserve and rock walk will be scheduled throughout the day. Lectures about our natural world and even dinosaurs will be offered for all to enjoy.

This event is a great way for children in Scout groups to complete requirements, and for Nature Bowl participants to get ready for semi-finals.

The cost for this event is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children 4-12. Discounts are available for Museum Members. Parking during the event is free.

The Natural History Museum at the Sierra College Rocklin Campus is run by volunteers. All proceeds from museum events are used for maintenance and improvements of this facility.
