Love Your Body WeekBeginning Monday April 13 through Friday April 17, Sierra College Rocklin campus will present the ninth annual Love Your Body Week. The week of events celebrates our bodies in all their diversities—size, shape, color, gender, abilities, etc. Specific events will include speakers, films, panel discussions, student projects, and a display of the Body Secrets of Sierra College. Love Your Body Week is an interdisciplinary event fully conceptualized, organized, and executed by Sierra College faculty, staff, and students. The public is invited and encouraged to attend this free week of events. To view the calendar of scheduled events, check out the website at www.sierracollege.edu/lybw. Directions and maps to the two participating campuses can also be found on this website.

Thursday evening, April 16, Love Your Body Week will present an experts panel discussion on human trafficking titled “Not For Sale”. This panel discussion will take place in the Rocklin Campus Weaver Hall, Building W, Rm. 110. from 6–8pm.

We invite the public to come and learn about this hidden and pervasive problem. Join this expert panel who will share personal stories, direct services, organizational support and examples of activism addressing trafficking…here locally as well as worldwide.
