The Sierra College Patrons, a support group of the Sierra College Foundation, invites the public and those interested in becoming members of the organization to attend their September 6 meeting dedicated to an examination of past accomplishments and an exploration by members of how belonging to the Sierra College Patrons has enriched their lives.

The 2016 fiscal year ended successfully with the Patrons raising more than $17,000 from their two major events, the Sierra College Patrons Crab Feed, the fall fundraiser; and the Vintage Marketplace, the spring fundraiser. As is defined by the role of the Patrons organization, the funds raised will be used to fulfill grant requests by the Arts and Humanities departments of the college and to recognize individual students for their academic and artistic accomplishments.

The calendar of activities for the 2016 - 2017 academic year has been set and includes general meetings the first Monday of each month. The Patrons Crab Feed will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the McBean Pavilion in Lincoln, CA. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are priced at $50.00. Detailed recorded information will be available beginning November 1, 2016 by calling 916-660-8232. The Vintage Marketplace will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 on the beautiful campus of Sierra College in Rocklin, CA. Admission is $5.00.

The Monday, September 6 meeting will be held from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the Sierra College Rocklin Campus in the Fireside Room located in the Campus Center (Building J). Lunch (which is optional) will be served at 12:30. The cost of the lunch is $11 and requires an RSVP. Please call Joan Edwards at 916-663-3408 by September 2nd. In addition, donations to the Sierra College Food Bank, which directly supports needy students, will be accepted at this meeting.
