The 2016-2017 lecture series of the Sierra College Natural History Museum begins Friday, September 16 with “Flying Across America”, a presentation by geography professor Sean Booth. Join us Friday evening at 7:30pm as Sierra College’s own geographer shares his aerial images and geographic stories from a unique vantage point. The presentation will be in Sewell Hall (room 111) on the Sierra College Rocklin Campus.

Sean Booth is a geography professor at Sierra College and the pilot of a small plane. His travels have taken him around the country, photographing America’s unique features from the air. In this presentation he’ll share his recent journey across the United States in a small airplane, from California to Florida. We’ll explore the Sierra Nevada, the Great Basin, the Rocky Mountains, and beyond!
