Events at SierraAfrican American History Month at Sierra College Presents: Charlotte Mama C O'Neal

Mama Charlotte will speak on the more than two decades of United African Alliance Community Centers community outreach in America, Africa and Asia, including the UAACC Leaders of Tomorrow Children's Home program! Mama C will screen unique, inspiring documentaries; perform her music and poetry; speak on aspects of the Black Panther Party, and spread love and inspiration in an earthy and effective style that is uniquely her own!

Charlotte Hill O'Neal, aka Mama C, is a writer/poet, visual artist and musician. She is a longtime community activist and director of United African Alliance Community Cent UAACC based in Tanzania, East Africa. 

Mama C and her husband, Pete, were members of the Kansas City Black Panther Party. Pete is in exile and they have lived in Tanzania for over 40 years. They have built a community center, school, recording studio and children's home.
