Open house - fun for the whole family!

Event Details

Chemistry can cause chaos and chaos can be fizzy fun! Sewell Hall chemists will inspire a child’s inner scientist as they engage in Periodic Table of Elements hopscotch and molecule Jenga™. Our “Mix It Up” Mad Laboratory will be making imploding apples, attracting magnetic slime, and launching a Mentos™ and soda rocket… (Recommended Age 4+)

As this is an open house style event, additional activities throughout the two hour workshop will be offered such as Museum tours, a StoryTime presentation of Ada Twist, Scientist (written by Andrea Beaty and illustrated by David Roberts), and an Isotope Snack Bar with Polymer Punch.

Mrs. Greve closes, “grab your lab coat and Erlenmeyer flasks! You don’t want to miss this practicum! It’s the perfect weekend activity for families, grandparents, scout groups, and home schools.”
