TOPIC: How Language Impacts Anti-Immigrant Sentiment. Partnership with Cal Dreamers

Event Details

Every month, the Student Engagement Centers (SEC) host an array of intersectional, equity-based and student-scholar-driven programs and workshops. We offer on-going monthly events, as well as unique content developed and facilitated by the SEC Peer Leaders.

Join us in the Cross Cultural Center (K-1) for an ongoing discussion on how social justice impacts our lives, from the language we use and its origins, to current events, and more complex social justice concepts.

These events are free, open to the community, and refreshments are provided! We hope that you’ll join us this month to expand your perspectives, learn about social justice and equity, and help us build solidarity within community.

Check us out on Facebook for more details on individual events: https://www.facebook.com/sierracollegeSEC/
