Event Details

Events at SierraGeology Professor and famed Paleontologist, Dick Hilton will offer an “Ask Me Anything” to dinosaur lovers and amateur rock hounds. A pint-sized paleontology dig will allow children to “unearth” fossil replicas of some of the Museum’s most notable specimens.

“BedRock Bingo” will be a fun, scavenger hunt type activity inside the facility and outside in the Rock Walk. Our Mineralogy exhibit will highlight regional rocks and minerals found in northern California and kids can examine obsidian “potatoes” with Professor Charles Dailey. (Recommended Age 6+)

The Museum will be open for all to walk around to see the exhibits.

Find out about Rocklin geology.
