Free, Short-Term Counseling Available

Students can face a lot of challenges during college. We provide free, personal short-term mental health counseling to help resolve your concerns. If your concern requires longer-term counseling, psychotherapy, or more specialized services, our counselors will help you find affordable resources.

All counseling services are confidential except as mandated by law.

Same day appointments are available for crises. Please drop by the counseling office or call for personal counseling assistance.

The Sierra College Behavioral Intervention CARE Team assists at-risk students who are displaying distressing behaviors that are escalating, concerning and require additional support. If you believe a student may pose an immediate threat to the health and safety of themselves or others, call 911 and/or Campus Security. Otherwise, submit a referral from any of our campuses, by emailing CAREteam@sierracollege.edu. Please provide basic information about the student, a description of your concerns and your contact information.
