Sierra College Celebrates 90th Anniversary
This year marks 90 years of Sierra College serving our region, along with 30 years of the Nevada County Campus. It’s a moment of pride and reflection, and one we’ll be acknowledging throughout 2026 in a variety of ways across the district. Our campus partners are excited to host events and activities recognizing this milestone.
Anniversary Events Throughout 2026
Several campus and district partners will be hosting events throughout the year to celebrate, including anniversary cake celebrations at all three campuses. Check back for more event details.
Introducing Sierra Stories
Across the district, meaningful achievements are happening every day by our students and employees. As we move into this anniversary year, we’ve created a simple Sierra Stories submission form to help surface those moments. Current or past students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to participate.
Online Storefront
The Sierra College Employee Apparel Shop is now open through Tuesday, March 17, 2026. The employee-only storefront features a wide selection of quality apparel and accessories with the official Sierra College logo, with select items also featuring our 90th Anniversary logo. Plus, it offers free returns and exchanges, and free shipping on orders of $50 or more for a limited time.
Anniversary Graphics
Our team has created a suite of anniversary graphics that employees are welcome to use in email signatures, presentations, and other college-related materials. All approved graphic options and variations are available for download on Inside Sierra, including 90th and 30th anniversary virtual backgrounds.
