Math Tutoring
Free Math Tutoring for Students
The Math/STEM Center and the Algebra and Statistics Support Center offer free tutoring to students enrolled at Sierra College. We provide math support for a range of math and math-related courses.
Math/STEM Center (Building V-329)
We offer free walk-in tutoring across all levels of mathematics, including algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. We also provide limited support in physics, chemistry, engineering, and computer science, depending on tutor availability each day.
We can help with the following courses:
- Math 11, 12, 16A, 16B, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 and 42 (limited).
- Physics A, 105, 205, 210 and 215 (limited).
Spring/Fall Hours
Monday – Thursday: 9 am – 5 pm
Friday: 9 am – 4 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 1 pm (Math Only)**
**Saturday hours are generally consistent but may vary at certain points in the semester. Please email amitchell13@sierracollege.edu to confirm Saturday hours for a specific week.
Summer Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8 am – 5 pm
Fridays and Saturdays: Closed

Algebra/Statistics Support Center (V-208)
The Algebra/Statistics Support Center offers free tutoring to all students currently enrolled in algebra and statistics classes at Sierra College.
Tutoring can help you get a better grade, deepen your understanding of a subject, or be a place to do your homework or meet study partners.
We can help with the following courses:
- Math 12, 24, 27 and 29; Soc 15; Stat C1000 and Psyc 142
