A project is “active” when District staff are actively planning for the start of design or have started to expend funding on the project.

Student Housing
Approximately 124,000 gsf
Completion: Fall 2025
State of California and Self-funded
- 350 (+/-) beds
- Adjacent to the Student Union and Library/Learning Resource Center
- Will house student support services in addition to student residents

Applied Technology Center (ATC) Modernization
37,000 square feet
Construction Start: Spring 2025
Completion (Building H): Summer 2026
Completion (Building N): Summer 2027
State, Measure E and District funded
This project will modernize and connect the current MakerSpace and Applied Technology instructional buildings, which were built in the 1960s. This will create a vocational technology hub on the Rocklin campus. The modernized buildings will be compliant with current building and accessibility codes and reflect current industry technology in the labs and classrooms to support both current and future programs.

New Science Building
65,000 square feet
Construction Start: Winter 2025
State, Measure E and District funded
- New, right sized science labs
- New planetarium with 120 seats
- Lobby space for static and dynamic museum exhibits
- Student collaboration areas on second floor

Student Union Modernization (Phase 2)
23,000 square feet
Project Budget: 39.8M
Construction Start: 2026
Measure E and District Funded
- Updating of outdoor amphitheater space
- Project will renovate and update the current Campus Center and Cafe, Bookstore and Student Engagement Center spaces into a Student Union
- New Student Union will support the new Student Life offices on campus, adjacent to the new Student Housing
