More Than 3,000 Attend 2023 Dinosaur Day and Science Fest

Dinosaurs, Sea Creatures and Bats, Oh My!

Dinosaurs, science, and more than 3,000 members of the community came together in Rocklin on Sunday, May 7, 2023, for a day of fun and learning at Sierra College Dinosaur Day and Science Fest 2023. The theme was Marine Reptiles and Creatures of the Sea.

Along with the dinosaurs, there were hands-on activities, demonstrations, dissections, live animals and educational games. View our Dino Day 2023 photo gallery.

“Dino Day and Science Fest 2023 was a huge success thanks to everyone who worked together to make it happen including the Division of Science and Mathematics, Sierra College Foundation, Marketing, Facilities/Grounds/Custodial, ITS, Community Safety and Emergency Preparedness, the Dinosaur Day Planning Committee and our outstanding corps of volunteer students and employees,” said Rachael Greve, Director, Sierra College Natural History Museum.

The Sierra College Natural History Museum (SCNHM) is a program fund of the Sierra College Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Proceeds benefit the Museum’s operational, educational and exhibitory initiatives.
