Helping Students Achieve Their Full Potential

The Sierra College Rising Scholars Program, a member of the California Community College Chancellors Office Rising Scholars Network, is dedicated to fostering the academic, personal, and professional success of justice-involved and justice-impacted students. The program specifically supports students enrolled in Dual Enrollment, Academic Enrichment, and part-time/full-time students residing at Auburn Juvenile Hall and high school students attending Placer County Office of Education’s Alternative High School, iCARE.

Rising Scholars offers a range of on-campus services designed to help justice-involved and justice-impacted students navigate their educational journey, including personalized assistance with enrollment and financial aid processes, as well as support in identifying and accessing relevant college programs and services. The program is committed to assessing individual needs and connecting students to Sierra College resources that support their success.
