Applications are available on our website. There is also an outside drop box for applications for after hours and weekends. Sierra College is located off Interstate 80 between Sacramento and Auburn. If you are driving east toward Reno, take the Rocklin Road exit and turn right. If you are heading west toward the Sacramento area, take the Rocklin Road exit and turn left and go under the freeway. The college is approximately one-quarter mile from the freeway. The Human Resources Office is located in the U Building accessed from the West entrance to Sierra College off Rocklin Road and El Don Drive. Turn left into campus and the second left into the parking lot.
Sierra College is a fully accredited, two-year institution with its main campus located in Rocklin, California, and campuses located in Grass Valley, Roseville and Truckee.
Situated in the beautiful Sierra foothills, the main Sierra College campus is centrally located near Interstate 80. Just a few short miles from the state capitol in Sacramento, Sierra College has a lovely setting with mild winters, breathtaking springs, and warm summers. Lake Tahoe is within short driving distance, as well as the wine country of Napa and the historic beauty of the gold county.
The faculty, staff, students and management at Sierra College are known throughout the area as warm and friendly. The college offers instruction in over 60 course disciplines in two-year degree programs. We also offer an extensive list of lower division courses for students who transfer to four-year universities. We award the largest number of Associate degrees in California. The academic schedule consists of two 16-week semesters, and summer sessions.
